New Years Resolution #3 - More Blogging
My final new years resolution is to post text to our blog at least once per day (starting to see a pattern?) I'm hoping that in 2007 TechnologyEvangelist.com will be able to better engage our readers and we'll get a lot more feedback on our posts. 2006 was a great year for us but I think with Ed posting as much as he does and with me attempting to commit an audio netcast, a video netcast and a text blog every day we'll be able to make 2007 10x what 2006 was.
This will be a tough journey. The audio and text are fairly easy, but the video takes a while to produce and compress. I welcome any and all feedback on how to not only better the content but also create an optimized workflow that does not eat through my whole day. While some may believe that TechnologyEvangelist.com is my full time job, in fact it is not. I need to be able to balance my work life with my blog life in such a way that both prosper.
It is my hope that TechnologyEvangelist.com and the associated video and audio projects become popular enough where we can move forward full time here. With the help of the Technology Evangelist community I hope that we can make this site grow by leaps and bounds.
As always, feedback welcome. Think I'm crazy for trying to take on such a workload? Think it will be fun? What would you like to see us produce? I'm actively scanning the comments and attempting to respond to each one personally.
